The Labrador Retriever Rescue of Florida is an existing non-profit organization dedicated to placing Labrador Retrievers in loving, permanent homes. They are one of the most successful dedicated breed-specific rescues in Florida.
Redesigning the LRROF organization website creates a more inviting and playful tone that encourages people to adopt, donate, and/or volunteer.
Dog lovers between the ages of 25–70 years old.
overall website strengths: organized, events page, new lab tips, and dog adoption videos.
overall website weaknesses: low-quality images, long page scrolls, readability issues, boring adoption page.

Jessica and Ryan are a couple who live together in their apartment in Palm Beach. They both work in remote jobs as an interior design team, and have a flexible schedule. They love animals and have decided to become foster parents. Specifically, they are hoping to foster their favorite dog breed: Labrador Retrievers.
Age: 62 & 67
Tom and Shirley are a contentedly retired couple. They used to own a beautiful yellow Labrador Retriever many years ago. They still have a significant amount of money to spend and would love to donate it to a non-profit organization that focuses on Labrador retrievers. They prefer an organization with an easy donation process that clearly shows their love and care for each dog.
Age: 35, 6, 40, 9
The Millers recently relocated to Florida after Raymond, the father, received a job promotion. Teresa, the mother, takes care of their two daughters, Charlotte and Chelsey, at home. The girls have been longing for a pet dog, and after much consideration, Teresa and Raymond have agreed to adopt a Labrador retriever from a reputable place nearby their Jacksonville residence.
The wireframes started with 12 original pages for the website. Later on throughout the process, significant changes and additional pages were added to result in a total of 17 pages.

The Baloo Bhai 2 typeface is playful, which fits the uplifting and friendly tone of the LRROF organization.

The Red Hate Display typeface became a complementary pair with the Baloo Bhai 2 typeface. The thinner and lighter font weight became a strong but subtle contrast next to the bolder headline copy.
